"SISTER DOWN" by Stephanie Hartshorn

Painted on location during the Sunset Paint Out in Sister Bay, Wisconsin (Door County), for the Door County Plein Air Festival Invitational. Was drawn to the dock wall... it brings unexpected color, direction (moves the eye), and interest into the foreground. It also adds specific 'character of place' to the scene for me. Kids and grown-ups walk out on this to a big platform where they jump off in groups. 😁
