This piece is a snapshot of an early morning in the rope corral at a branding in the spring. The horses moving in the same round pattern jostling for position with manes and tail flying and each looking for a way to dodge the hoolihan loop whistling through the air. It's the equine version of 'Mornin' Traffic'.
