"MARSHLAND" by Marc Hanson

Flatland living means the sky is alive all around you. When it gets active, as in a summer storm, there is a lot of drama to see and paint. This painting in particular is of a favorite time when the frontal clouds move in from the west and clash with the sea air, creating storms that are dramatic and dangerous, but also candy for the artist's eye.
