"In my home of Palatine, IL, there is a golf course that sits silent in winter. With a beautiful little creek that meanders throughout the course, it's easy to navigate and find moments of joy like this scene I stumbled upon. I love escaping to this location in winter after a fresh snow in the early morning or late in the afternoon as the shadows cast are long when the sun is out. This particular morning was very cold in early January, but it was peaceful, still, and the snow was virtually untouched." -Brian
