“GATHERED ‘ROUND” by Stephanie Hartshorn

This is one of those off-the-beaten-path road trip finds that immediately makes me pull over. The buildings sit together — gathered in closely, almost tucked into the landscape — giving the whole scene a quiet, intimate feeling. I feel a sense of generations here, of work, care, and daily life with the land. all the small details that give the place its character. The red barn, the surrounding structures, the bits of fencing, wood crates, (bees?)...all the good stuff
