“BRIDLE AND BRAIDS” by Rebekah McLain

“I wanted to create a larger piece that really stood out and made a statement and in my humble opinion this beautiful work does just that. While the subject is not my own horse, I carefully selected one that closely resembles one of my personal favorites of years past. A labor of love, and one of my most time extensive works to date, I'm thrilled to be able to display this and share its story. Fun fact: The entire mane was worked one eyed as a result of receiving a significant cornea tear from my toddler's quick finger. Determined to not let it stop my work, I worked with an eye patch and was able to successfully complete the work.“ -Rebekah McLain
