"APPROACHING TWILIGHT" by Kevin Courter

This piece was actually inspired by "Valley Light" which is also part of the Shades of Gray III show. In this piece I really wanted to highlight the warm colors of evening's receding light on the mountains in the background while keeping the foreground completely in the shadows, giving the piece a quiet, mysterious feeling.
