Artist's Statement

Painting is a way for me to pause for a moment and appreciate my surroundings. My paintings contain a variety of subject matter with the incorporation of painterly brushstrokes. Inspiration for artwork often comes from what’s around me whether it’s from my garden or a visit to a coastal bluff. I hope the joy I experience when painting comes across in my artwork.
